Liverpool have Fabinho back in training but Thiago is still absent
Fabinho returned to Liverpool training today ahead of the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
Thiago Alcantara, on the other hand, was unavailable for
the Redsdue to an achilles ailment he sustained during their 3-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last fixture of the season.
The Spaniard star was forced to leave the match just before halftime due to a hamstring injury and now faces a rush to be healthy for the important match against
LaLigachampions Los Blancos at the Stade de France.
He'll be treated at the AXA Training Centre in Liverpool before a last-minute assessment of his availability for Saturday's final.
Jurgen Klopp said the injury was "not good" after Sunday's victory against Wolves, but hesitated to rule him out of the
Champions Leaguefinal, asserting:
"Not good, but I cannot say more."
"He was outside with the families, had his little girl on his shoulder, so he could walk. That's obviously a good sign. All the rest, we'll see from tomorrow."
