Motta won't deny PSG links as he says these rumors are always there

Thiago Motta, the manager of Spezia, has not confirmed his future with the club and has responded to the PSG reports. "I will speak to the club."

In August, the strategist will turn 40, having spent the last six years of his playing career with

Paris Saint-Germain

before taking over as manager of their Under-19 team for the 2018-19 season.

He went on to have successful

Serie A

coaching spells at Genoa and

Spezia

, but there are speculations in France that he is one of the contenders for the post at Parc des Princes if Mauricio Pocchettino is fired.

“It has been a privilege for me to train this group of players and it’s very satisfying to have secured our Serie A status,” Thiago Motta told DAZN.

Matteo Politano, Piotr Zielinski, and Diego Demme scored in a 3-0 loss to Napoli at home Thursday afternoon, bringing the Serie A season to a close.

“There are always rumours circulating about me and there always will be. I am very happy with what we achieved at Spezia this season.

“There will be time to talk about the future, for now I want to take some time with my family, especially as my daughters are 10 years old and I haven’t seen them in two months, so that will be a special moment.”

PSG is undergoing major changes with the revelation that Kylian Mbappé has inked a new deal, rejecting Real Madrid's proposal.

Today, it was also broadly reported that the sporting director Leonardo had been fired, and Luis Campos had been appointed in his place.
