.

The shot-stopper pulled off two impressive saves to stop Harvey Barnes during his side’s 2-1 victory over

Leicester City

, helping his side climb over Leeds United and Burnley in the Premier League table.

Vitalii Mykolenko and Mason Holgate met the back of the net for Everton as the club won the first away game in the league since August.

The club manager, who was appointed in January, has gone through difficult time since his arrival. However, with victories over Leicester City and Chelsea, the squad is getting back on the right track and Lampard hailed the former Sunderland man, who pulled off seven saves to limit the opposition side.

"He's in great form, and he's getting the recognition he rightly deserves in the last week,

" Lampard said.

"He did a couple of big saves for us. Everybody's important, but you need those moments and for those top-level players to produce, and he produces."

The Ukrainian player scored the opener for Lampard’s side and the tactician was pleased with the 22-year-old’s attitude, whose homeland has been invaded by Russia and he had a lot on mind. However, his focus on the game was so admirable to Lampard.

"I'm really pleased for him, he's been playing so well,"

Lampard told Sky Sports.

"For all that's been going on for him at home, coming to the country and the Premier League and what's going on back home for him, he's dealt with it incredibly.

"It was great to get ourselves in front and get a nice feeling so early in the game."

Everton, however, are not safe yet as they sit only one point above Leeds and Burnley, but the Toffees have one game in hand.

"We're fighting together,"

said Lampard.

"We created a lot of good chances, rode our luck at times. It's important to enjoy these moments but realise there's still a lot of work to be done."
