Milan to start negotiations with Sassuolo over Berardi
The Italian midfielder is close to leaving Sassuolo.
Reports suggest that Milan will soon begin negotiations to sign
Domenico Berardi
from Sassuolo, but they will only want to sign him on loan.
Berardi
has performed well this season, reached his goals and assist to double figure, and is expected to join Stefano Pioli's side as Milan's new winger next season. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan and Sassuolo will soon meet to begin negotiations over the transfer of the 28-year-old midfielder.
Berardi
is valued at around € 30 million, but Milan have no plans to pay him that amount given his age. The Rossoneri are therefore expected to make a loan offer to sign
Berardi
.
The Rossoneri's strategy in this transfer will probably be similar to Locatelli's transfer to Juventus. Sassuolo loaned Locatelli to Juventus last summer on loan.
Berardi
will not be the only transfer target for the Rossoneri, with
Noa Lang
,
Charles De Keetaere
and Marco Asensio among the club's summer transfer targets.
