Fabinho on what Liverpool should do against ‘great’ Inter

The Reds midfielder thinks the Nerazzurri have been impressive in Italy in the last two or three season and revealed that they have performed better that Liverpool in the first half of the clash at the Stadio Meazza a few weeks back.

Inter

will go against

Liverpool

tomorrow and they aim to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Reds in February. Simone Inzaghi’s side have returned to winning in

Serie A

when they vanquished Salernitana 5-0. They didn’t net in the previous four matches across all competition and only gained two points in their last four matches in Serie A.

They are sitting second in the table, two points adrift of the league leaders Milan; however, they have game in hand.

During the press conference after the game, Liverpool boss

Jurgen Klopp

said that Inter are not tourists and he warns his players of the Nerazzurri’s abilities.

Fabinho

is also aware of their strength.

For me, they are the best Italian side the last two or three years,”

the midfielder added.

“They play really good football. In the first half of the first leg, they played the better but we were more ready in front of the goal. A big team has to win games like that, score the chances you have.

“We have to make sure we don’t give them any confidence and try to kill the game as quickly as possible.”
