The former England star is optimistic about Liverpool's victory in the final against Chelsea.
legend Robbie Fowler believes that Liverpool's current squad is one of the best teams in the history of the club and that this team has a good advantage over
Chelsea.
Liverpool and Chelsea will face each other in the EFL Cup final at Wembley Stadium, and the two German coaches will confront once again. Liverpool have done well in recent weeks and Fowler, who has scored 183 goals in 369 appearances for the club and twice won the EFL Cup, believes the Reds have a significant advantage over Chelsea.
"Whatever team shows up, either side has shown they can compete. Chelsea have played in five major finals in the last 12 months, so you know what they're capable of.
"But you look at Liverpool's form of late, the squad they've got, they can compete with anyone. It has got the makings of a great game. I'm obviously sat on the Liverpool side of it.
