Carvajal returned to Spain after coronavirus battle

The Spanish defender missed the match against Elche, but will not have a problem playing after the next match.

Real Madrid

defender

Dani Carvajal

will return to Spain today after recovering from Covid-19.

The Spanish defender, who was on his way to Saudi Arabia to play in the Supercopa, played against Barcelona and then tested positive for Covid-19. Thus, he missed the final match and could not return to Spain with the team and remained in quarantine in Saudi Arabia.

His quarantine period ended and he was allowed to return to Spain today. The Spanish defender arrives in Spain before the match against Elche, but is unlikely to be on the squad for the match. He has been sidelined for a long time due to a number of injuries in recent seasons, and has played a key role in his squad this season.

Carlo Ancelotti will probably not rush Carvajal and will use

Lucas Vazquez

against Elche in the Copa del Rey. In the Super Cup final against Athletic Bilbao, Vazquez played Real Madrid and performed well.
