Tunisia’s Jaziri not available for AFCON due to Covid
According to the Tunisian Football Federation, Seifeddine Jaziri’s Covid-19 test has turned out positive just before the AFCON.

at their disposal when they get ready for the
Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON), but they have an easy start as they are placed in Group F with
Gambia,
Maliand
Mauritania.
However, missing their main striker to positive Covid-19 is also going to affect them, as they cannot replace the Arab Cup top scorer. They have already submitted the squad and after the deadline set by the Confederation of African Football, which was December 30, they are not able to change it.
The AFCON will start on January 9, 2022 and will continue until February 6 in Cameroon.
Tunisia will face Mali in their first clash of the tournament before locking horns with Mauritania on the 16th and taking on Gambia four days later.
