Capello criticized Allegri for returning to Juventus

After two years away from the football field, the Italian coach decided to sit on the bench of Juventus again.

Former

Juventus

boss Fabio Capello has criticized Massimiliano Allegri for his decision to return to Juventus.

The 54-year-old returned to Juventus last summer to replace Andrea Pirlo. He had previously won the Serie A title five times with Juventus, but so far this season he has not been able to achieve good results and currently his team is not in the top 4 teams in the league. Now Capello, who led Juventus for two seasons and won two titles with the team, which was later revocked, criticized Allegri's decision to return to the Allianz stadium.

He said:

"I had said that Allegri would become an umbrella, he would attract all the criticism. And so he did.

‘Guilty or blameless? On the pitch, not guilty. He made a few mistakes, it took him a while to understand what to do but the path he chose for me is the best. Max always knows where to go. In the decision itself, guilty, he had an offer from

Real

and it was the ideal time to go to Madrid.

"Let’s say Juventus were a comfortable choice. Abroad it’s harder, you have to question yourself, discover that the players have different habits. Allegri seems a bit lazy, he has no interest in moving, he prefers to have

Livorno

close by."

Allegri has been doing well in recent weeks and has been able to improve his team's position in the table.
