Mbappe sets a record in Ligue 1 with his 100th goal for PSG

The France international has hit another record in their battle against his former side Monaco following his remarkable first-half performance.

Kylian Mbappe

is the youngest player in

Ligue 1

to have netted 100 goals for a single club after his brace for

Paris Saint-Germain

in their battle against

Monaco

on Sunday.

The Frenchman met the back of the net early doors when locking horns with his former club after Djibril Sidibe's foul on Angel Di Maria.

Lionel Messi

provided an assist for the France international to find the target and reach his 100-goal milestone.

The 22-year-old is the youngest player to have set that record for one club in Ligue 1’s history since the data was first recorded in 1950-51 by Opta.

Mbappe scored nine goals and provided 14 assists this season for his side, who are leading the French top-flight.

The Argentina international’s assist has also seen him involved in goals in consecutive matches for the first time since he joined PSG, having found the back of the net twice in the battle against Club Brugge in the Champions League earlier.
