Villarreal boss reacts to Solskjaer’s sacking ahead of Man United game
Unai Emery believes Man United will not make significant changes for the upcoming game.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was
sackedby Manchester United on Sunday, with the club appointing Michael Carrick as interim coach. In a pre-match press conference, Villarreal boss Unai Emery spoke about Man United’s decision to part ways with their manager.
He said:
“I have faced him (Solskjaer) with Arsenal, Villarreal and also Sevilla, against Molde. As a coach it hurts a lot because he is a great person,
“I don’t think there will be a lot of changes for Manchester United. They will want to win and they have the extra motivation of going through in the Champions League.
“They have a very strong team. We expect a strong Manchester United. Things could change tactically, but we are prepared to face Cristiano Ronaldo, David De Gea, Fred, (Marcus) Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, whoever plays.”
Villarreal are struggling for form as they sit 12th in La Liga. Having seen Man United
losing4-1 to 16th placed Watford on Saturday, Emery’s side will surely look to benefit from their opponents’ chaotic situation.
