Bayern Munich boss provides update on Davies’s injury

Julian Nagelsmann says the Canadian defender’s injury is not serious but he will have a three-day break.

limped off the pitch in the Bavarians 5-1 rout of Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday due to pain in his hamstring.

has provided an update on the 20-year-old’s health, marking that although the injury is not serious, Davies will not feature in tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Benfica.

“Leon Goretzka is out with a cold.

“Alphonso Davies did not suffer any structural damage in Leverkusen, but we are going to give him a two or three-day break because we have a tight schedule.
