Bakayoko returns to action for Milan against Porto

The Rossoneri midfielder is now back in training and may feature for his side in their Champions League battle against FC Porto.

Milan

signed a two-year loan contract with

Tiemoué Bakayoko

that includes an obligation to buy with some conditions and the midfielder has come back to San Siro after a season with Napoli.

The 27-year-old played for Milan in the 2018-19 season under the reign of Gennaro Gattuso and reunited with him in Napoli last season.

The French midfielder has appeared in one game in Serie A with the Diavolo in the 2021-22 season but he sustained an injury in the clash against Lazio.

According to reports from MilanNews, Bakayoko is in training again and may feature when his side locks horns with

Porto

in the Champions League.

The Rossoneri are yet to be defeated this season, having secured an impressive 3-2 victory over Hellas Verona last time out, but have not yet gained a point in the Champions League.

They were beaten 3-2 at the hands of Liverpool, while Atletico Madrid managed to win 2-1 against Stefano Pioli’s side.
