Pedro Porro will 'never' join Real Madrid
Porro is under the radar of the Whites, but does not seem to intend to join the club.
The grandfather of Sporting Lisbon star Pedro Porro has denied rumors that he will join
Real Madrid.
Porro who joined Sporting on loan from
Manchester City, is one of the club's key players, and his good performance helped the club win the Portuguese league, and after the title, he received more and more attention. Rumor had it that Real Madrid were planning to sign him, but today his grandfather denied this in an interview with AS. He said that his grandson is a Barcelona fan and will never join Real Madrid.
However, Porro's grandfather is happy to have him join Atletico Madrid because he believes Diego Simeone, the club's head coach, has "two eggs".
At the end of the season, Porro's two-year loan spell at Sporting will come to an end and he will have to decide on his future. However, his grandfather's words today will rule out his transfer to Real Madrid, and it remains to be seen whether he will return to Manchester City or move to another team.
