Bielsa praised Leeds youngster Roberts

The Argentine coach praised the young star of his team, who performed well contrary to expectations.

Leeds United

boss Marcelo Bielsa believes Tyler Roberts can prove himself to his critics.

Roberts was on the bench during his side's game against Watford, and after appearing on the pitch, he had a positive impact on the game until his side finally won their first league title. The Welsh striker has a lot of opponents on the platforms of the اندland River, but his movements and impact on the ground attracted a lot of attention, and he also shook the horizontal bar in the last minutes with a spectacular volley. Bilsa praised him after the game, claiming that Roberts had to prove himself against their opponents.

He said:

“He still hasn’t been able to link his qualities with his performances. I, in particular, have a lot of confidence in his resources.

“I feel that he is a player who can unbalance and I hope he can evolve and take a leading role in our team. He has taken a step forward.”

Bielsa also praised Dan James and said:

“Every time he plays, he plays better than the previous game.

“(James) shows resources and qualities that we know he has and he’s going to become an important, special contribution to the team.”
