Napoli confident Ospina will be available against Juventus
Napoli are hoping to have David Ospina in their goal when they face Juventus next Saturday after the goalkeeper went off injured during a game for Colombia.
Alex Meret
has already been out of action for several weeks after micro-fractures were found in his back.
Ospina
therefore will defend
Napoli’s goal in their Serie A match against
Juventuson Saturday.
In one of the final stages of the match, the Colombian goalkeeper had a collision with a rival when going out in defense of a ball. There the goalkeeper spent a few minutes on the ground while he was treated by the medical staff.
So when he left the pitch with a game for Colombia, it caused some panic in Napoli, with reports they could even try to sign free agent Antonio Mirante to fill the void.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Ospina only sustained a knock and will be available for the game against Juve.
Juan Cuadrado is set to be on the flight along with Ospina, arriving on Friday afternoon in Portugal.
