Kante to miss France World Cup qualifier, confirms Deschamps
Didier Deschamps has confirmed that N’Golo Kante will miss the France World Cup qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday.
The midfielder aggravated an ankle injury during
Chelsea's 1-1 draw with
Liverpoolon Saturday, forcing the Frenchman to leave the field of play at half-time.
So the reigning world champions will not be able to call upon
Kante
for the first game of their World Cup qualifying campaign in early September.
Addressing the media on Tuesday, head coach Deschamps said
: "Kante will be too soon for tomorrow.
"There are too many risks; he will not be used tomorrow."
