Tottenham in talks over Nahitan Nandez

has been an outcast all summer. He refused to attend pre-season friendlies and even on social media said that Cagliari had promised him a transfer to
Inter.
However, their plan fell through and the Nerazzurri moved on to other targets and according to Calciomercato.it, Sportitalia, and more report this afternoon, now they are in talks with
Tottenhaminstead.
The Uruguay international’s deal would be a loan at €5-6 million with an option to buy for a further €20 million, which could become an obligation if certain conditions are met during the season.
The 25-year-old, with 41 senior caps for Uruguay, joined Cagliari from Boca Juniors in the summer of 2019 on a €17 million deal.
He made 32 Serie A appearances last season for Cagliari during which he has been able to score two goals and provide three assists.
