Dani Carvajal set to return for Real Madrid

The Spanish full-back is close to making a comeback as Los Blancos are getting ready for their second clash in La Liga.

Dani Carvajal

did not make an appearance for

Real Madrid

in the last seven matches due to a muscular injury, stretching from last season until now that they had their opening game of the 2021-22 season.

However, the 29-year-old is back training and may return to action this weekend. Having not played for so long, Carvajal will not be fit enough to be in Real Madrid’s starting XI in the battle against Levante, but he may play for some minutes.

Lucas Vazquez

replaced Carvajal when he was absent and he is going to continue doing so this weekend as well.

The Spain international should get some minutes before he can earn back his starting spot. The Spanish is going to avoid what happened last season when he was absent for 36 games because of injury.
