Tottenham could move for Villarreal defender Pau Torres this month, especially if Harry Kane decides to move to Manchester City as his move would hand Nuno Santo an increased transfer budget.

Manchester United have been shown interest in the Spanish international but it has reduced lately following the arrival of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
According to the reports from the
Daily Express, Nuno Santo is already planning for life after Harry Kane started to consider a £150 million move to Manchester City.
If the England captain moves on to the Etihad Stadium, Santo will have an increased transfer budget in the coming weeks.
Also, the departure of Toby Alderweireld has left the Spurs short of numbers in defense and Torres is an excellent candidate for the position.
