Rome considers Iheanacho as an alternative for Abraham

Giallorossi are monitoring two Premier League options to bolster their attack.

Roma

will go for Kelechi Iheanacho, if they fail to sign Tammy Abraham from Chelsea.

Roma have already reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Abraham for 34 million pounds. The English striker has asked the Italian club, led by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, for more time to think about the offer. Roma's general manager Tiago Pinto also traveled to London on Thursday to facilitate the transfer.

However, Roma, still unsure of Abraham's decision, is considering other options, with Kelechi Iheanacho said to be the most serious. Iheanacho extended his contract with Leicester City for another three years in April, but Roma still intend to sign him.

Arsenal, Atalanta and Roma are among the teams that are monitoring Abraham, but Chelsea would prefer to sell him to a foreign club, so his move to Arsenal would be ruled out. It remains to be seen what decision Abraham will make and whether he will be content to be in the Italian capital.
