Marseille and Sevilla shown interest in Nikola Maksimovic
Olympique Marseille have shown interest in Nikola Maksimovic but they could face competition over the defender as Sevilla might jump at the opportunity. In the meantime, the 29-year-old has been leaning towards signing a new deal with Napoli.

’s contract expired on June 30 and the 29-year-old Serbia international has been without a club since then.
According to the reports over the last few days, Maksimovic has been leaning towards signing a new deal with
Napoliand extending his stay that began in 2016.
However, RMC Sport and Sky Sport Italia, there is also another possibility as
Olympique Marseilleare proposing their own deal for the defender.
It seems Marseille are likely to face competition over the defender as
Sevillaare also keeping a close eye on the situation and might jump at the opportunity, although, they first need to sell before they can invest in new players.
Roma have also been linked with a possible free transfer for him.
Maksimovic’s joined Napoli in 2016 and since then he has made 99 appearances for the club in all competitions through which he has been able to score two goals and prove four assists.
