Juventus eying Ramsey swap deal to get Pjanic back from Barca

The Italian giants are looking to replace the injured Arthur Melo with their former midfielder.

Miralem Pjanic

joined Barcelona on a swap deal involving Arthur Melo last year. The 31-year-old, who made only 19 league appearances under Ronald Koeman, has been linked with a move back to the Old Lady in recent weeks.

According to

Calciomercato.com

, Pjanic is interested in a Juventus return, while the Italian giants are planning to include

Aaron Ramsey

in their offer to sign the Bosnian midfielder. On the other hand, the Catalans are desperate to reduce their wage bill ahead of the next season as they are determined to sign a new contract with Lionel Messi.

Juventus are keen to add Pjanic to their squad as they will have to start the season without the service of Arthur Melo. The Brazilian midfielder underwent surgery on Friday and he is expected to be sidelined for three months.
