Germany owes Joachim Low - Neuer

Neuer claimed that after last night's game, he was upset after seeing Low's face.

German national team

goalkeeper Manuel Neuer believes that the team owes to their outgoing head coach Joachim Low.

Last night, Germany suffered a 2-0 defeat to England in the round of 16 of Euro 2020 eliminated from the competition, and Joachim Low failed his last match. Low has been in charge of Germany since 2006 and won the 2014 World Cup with the team. However, their results have not been impressive in recent years, and there has been a lot of criticism from the German coach. Now Neuer praised his coach and claimed that Germany owed him.

Neuer told

ARD

:"After the final whistle, I looked towards the coaching bench and of course it's a sad feeling when I saw Jogi."

“He's a great guy and a great person and has achieved so much with us as a trainer. It's damn sad that the era is ending like this.

“Former players owe him a lot and he shaped that era. That hurts."

Joachim Loew will replace Joachim Low in the German national team and they hope to achieve good results under the former Bayern coach.
