Celtic keeping tabs on Brighton goalkeeper

The Hoops are considering a move for Mat Ryan in the summer transfer window.

Celtic

are determined to improve their squad ahead of the next season as they will be fighting to get back on top of Scottish football. The club appointed

Ange Postecoglou

as their new coach after their extensive search for a suitable managerial option. According to

Sky Sports

, Postecoglou is interested in signing the

Brighton

goalkeeper

Mat Ryan

. The 29-year-old, who spent half of last season on loan at

Arsenal

, has worked with the experienced coach in the Australia national team. The goalkeeper was Australia’s No 1 in both 2014 World Cup and 2015 Asian Cup, where they won the continental trophy.

Arsenal are also interested in signing the goalkeeper on a permanent deal, following his loan spell at Emirates last season. Ryan’s contract with Brighton ends next summer and he is reportedly keen to join a club where he will be the first-choice keeper.
