Guangzhou striker Talisca joins the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr

Anderson Talisca, a Brazilian international, has completed a move from Chinese Super League (CSL) powerhouse Guangzhou FC to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Arabian club revealed on Monday.

"Al Nassr has officially signed with Brazilian star Anderson Talisca. With a contract that extends to three years, we wish him good luck with our stars,"

said the Saudi Arabian side in its Twitter post that also unveiled a photo of Talisca with a yellow Al Nassr jersey.

"

The Brazilian forward agreed to a three-year contract with Al Nassr, with a transfer fee of eight million euros ($9.77 million) and a yearly salary of 6.5 million euros ($7.93 million),"

sources close to the Brazilian told Xinhua.

Talisca's annual pay at

Guangzhou FC

was 7.5 million euros ($9.16 million), and his departure could provide financial relief for the Chinese club, which is subject to a strict salary cap regulation.

The 27-year-old moved to Besiktas as a loanee from Benfica in August 2016 before joining Guangzhou for a transfer fee of 19 million euros ($23.19 million) in June 2018. He netted 30 goals in 47 CSL games and another six goals in 11

AFC Champions League

games for Guangzhou.

The Brazilian lives in Brazil after Guangzhou attempted but failed to return him to China due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
