Real Madrid to end Reinier's loan deal at Dortmund

Real Madridafter spending an unsuccessful spell at the German club. According to
Diario AS, both the Blancos and the player are unhappy with his situation at Dortmund. Following his €35 million transfer from
Flamengoin January 2020, Reinier was loaned out to Dortmund to gain more experience in the German top-flight. However, he has been able to feature in only 18 matches for the Schwarzgelben across all competitions.

Giovanni Reynahas intensified the competition in Dortmund’s midfield, preventing the Brazilian from getting enough game time. Reinier, who is yet to start a match for Dortmund, is frustrated with the situation as he expected his transfer to provide him with more game time. The midfielder is set to return to Real Madrid in the summer as the Blancos are keen to help the 19-year-old with his development. The Spanish side are struggling with financial issues and they are interested in re-integrating their loaned-out players into their squad. According to
