Liverpool might sign Camavinga to replace Wijnaldum
Liverpool are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements and have already identified Eduardo Camavinga as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum.
Georginio Wijnaldum
has played under Ronald Koeman at the international level and it seems the Barcelona boss is keen to bring him in for the next season as the Netherlands international is expected to leave Anfield when his contract expires on June 30.
It seems that Jurgen Klopp should be on the lookout for midfield reinforcements as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have also been linked with moves away from
Liverpooland James Milner is going to turn 36 in January.
According to
Daily Express, the Reds have been interested in
Eduardo Camavinga
and have identified him as a potential replacement for Wijnaldum.
Camavinga, 18, is a regular at
Rennesand has been able to make 34 appearances through all competitions this season. He is also a full France international and even has played three times for Didier Deschamps’ side.
Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the teenager and now Liverpool look set to join the race to sign Camavinga.
His contract is going to expire in 2022 and the French side are likely to cash in on him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer 12 months later.
