Militao considers Real Madrid exit

The Blancos defender is frustrated with the lack of game time as he wants to earn a place in Brazil’s squad for the 2022 World Cup.

Eder Militao

joined

Real Madrid

from

Porto

in 2019. Despite spending £43m on bringing the player to Santiago Bernabeu, the Blancos are yet to offer him a regular place in the team’s lineup. The 23-year-old has found himself behind

Sergio Ramos

and

Raphael Varane

in the pecking order, having featured in only six league matches for the Blancos in their current campaign. According to

Goal.com

, Militao is considering a move away from the Spanish capital for the upcoming transfer window. The Brazilian still has four years left of his current contract and the Spanish side are keen to keep him in their squad. Militao, who wants to earn a place in Selecao's 2022 World Cup squad, has been linked with

Bayern Munich

in recent months. However, Real Madrid are aware of the player’s interest to leave the club and they have moved to reassure him over his position at Santiago Bernabeu.
