Inter’s former shot-stopper Gianluca Pagliuca believes he “would have another Scudetto if there had been technology” in 1997-98, when the title was ‘stolen’ by Juventus.

“It was a fantastic year and it could’ve been historic, but it wasn’t, and that was through no fault of our own.
“We saw goals that weren’t given when the ball clearly crossed the line, some incredible penalties not awarded… very, very strange situations.
“Such as for example the goal that wasn’t seen in Empoli-Juve or another in Juve-Udinese. Let’s just say that I would have another Scudetto if there had been technology at the time.”
