Inter Miami welcome Messi with open arms - Higuain

Many clubs want to sign Lionel Messi and it looks like David Beckham's club is one of them.

Inter Miami star Gonzalo Higuain has claimed that they welcome Lionel Messi with open arms.

Rumor has it that Barcelona star Lionel Messi will leave the team next summer. He made a great effort to leave in the summer of 2020, but eventually remained in the team, but his contract with the club will expire next summer. Now Higuain, who was a teammate of Lionel Messi in the Argentine national team, welcomed Messi's presence in MLS.

"[Andrea] Pirlo came here [to MLS] when he was a world champion, so did [Thierry] Henry, [David] Villa and [Blaise] Matuidi," Higuain told

"I see no reason why Lionel couldn't come here. If it would make him happy, we would welcome him with open arms.

"At some point, he will decide where he wants to play play and what is in his own best interests on a personal and sporting level, but in my opinion, he has the caliber  to continue competing for the Champions League."
