West Ham name Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham as one of their summer targets
Alongside the Blues frontman, the Hammers name Eddie Nketiah and Ivan Toney as their other targets for the summer.
According to the
Daily Star,
West Ham Unitedhave prepared a shortlist of their targets for the upcoming transfer season with
Chelsea’s
Tammy Abrahambeing at the top of the list.
In case the Hammers fail to sign the Blues striker, who is currently Chelsea’s top-scorer for the season with 12 goals across-all-competitions,
Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah and
Brentford’s
Ivan Toneywill be considered as the alternative options for Abraham.
Though Michael Antonio has been in charge of attack duty since
Sebastian Haller’s move to
Ajax, David Moyes hopes a new striker will be welcomed into his fourth-placed squad in the near future.
Since
Timo Werner’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, Abraham has been finding it difficult to surpass the former
RB Leipzigplayer for a spot in the team and with Chelsea’s rumored interest in
Erling Haaland, his final days with Thomas Tuchel’s squad may be over sooner than later.
During his time with Chelsea, Abraham has been loaned to several other
Premier Leagueclubs before earning a place in their first team.
Still Abraham’s chances did not come until Chelsea were given a transfer-ban, which forced their ex-head coach, Frank Lampard, to use the young players at his hand.
