Legs of Spurs match in Europa League switched

The order of Tottenham's game in Europe changed because of Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur

have confirmed that they have changed the arrangement for their Europa League match against

Dinamo Zagreb

following a UEFA order.

Jose Mourinho's men have a special incentive to win the Europa League this season and were scheduled to travel to Croatia on March 11 to play and then host the next week in London. However, to avoid interfering with Arsenal's game on the same day, UEFA has ordered a change in the order of the games.

In fact, on the same day that Tottenham were to host Dinamo Zagreb, Arsenal hosted Olympiacos at the Emirates Stadium. According to UEFA rules for the 2020-2021 season, it is forbidden for two teams from the same city to host the games on the same day, which means that one of the two teams had to change the order of the game.

Since Arsenal were promoted to the Europa League directly after their FA Cup win, they have the upper hand, so the Spurs had to change their playing time.
