Prandelli on Fiorentina’s future plans, Udinese clash, and Ribery

The La Viola boss talked about their goals for the future as they prepare for their upcoming clash with Udinese.

Fiorentina

manager, Cesare Prandelli, admitted that they are already looking forward to their future as a team while talking at a press conference ahead of their match against

Udinese

.

“We must fight all the time. We’ll be facing a strong team with some exciting players. They are a solid team and we must be focused,”

said Prandelli.

“We must play a great game, making the most of our strengths. We must put in the same performances of the last two away games against Torino and Sampdoria, hoping to be luckier.”

“[Luca] Gotti has a great experience. He can read the games well. Udinese are a very organised team.”

Asked about the possibility of

Franck Ribery

’s return to action, he responded:

“He trained with the team once this week, and he did it well. We have one more session left, we’ll see.”

“[Christian] Kouame got injured, I am sorry for him because he was improving, but we have a great medical staff and I hope he will return to action in two weeks.”

Later talking about Fiorentina’s rumored interest in former

Juventus

boss,  Maurizio Sarri, Prandelli added:

“I will never create problems for the club.”

“It’s premature to talk about the future, but I am sure I’ll be in sync with the directors.”
