There is a problem for Chelsea in their race for Haaland
The Norwegian star is one of Chelsea’s main targets but dealing with his agent might not be easy for the Blues.
Many clubs including
Chelsea,
Real Madrid, and
Manchester Unitedare keen to make a move for
Erling Haalandin the summer transfer window as he has successfully proven himself to be one of the best players in his position. The Norwegian striker has made 16 appearances for
Dortmundin the current season and has managed to score 15 goals and provide 4 assists for the German side. Chelsea have chosen Haaland as one of their main targets in the summer transfer window after they failed to sign
Dayot Upamecanofrom
Leipzig. However, According to
Telegraph
’s
Matt Law
, the player’s agent won’t be easy to persuade.
“Chelsea were unquestionably interested in Upamenco but I'm told their scouts weren't fully convinced. Suspect they weren't keen enough to get into a bidding war over his wages. As reported this week, Alaba wages currently too high and I'm also told he would like to play def mid”
Law wrote in a Twitter post.
“Clear that Chelsea will prioritise central defender and a striker in the summer. The interest in Haaland dates back to his RB Slazburg days but his wages and Raiola are a problem...not just for Chelsea.”
