Shakhtar Donetsk’s Manor Solomon on Premier League interest

The Israeli player confirmed his talks with several Premier League clubs ahead of summer transfer season.

According to some reports, the 21-year-old’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has already had some talks with the Gunners technical director, Edu, among other clubs.

"There are talks with teams from England,"

Solomon told

 Sport5. "There are things that can happen in the summer.”

"My dream is to play in England and it also seems to be the most realistic option for me.”

"And teams in England can pay."

Before moving to the Donetsk for €6 million and a 5-year-contract, Solomon was a

Maccabi Petah Tikva

player.

In his 135 appearances with Donetsk, the Israeli player has scored 20 goals and gave 13 assists.

Having previously been linked with a move to

, Solomon told

"They really wanted me and I had a meeting with them but unfortunately it did not work out.”

"My owner in Israel demanded a lot of money; he wanted €5m for me and then when he heard it was Manchester City, he wanted €10m."

As Arsenal continue their struggles with lack of goals and inconsistency, Mikel Arteta hopes to enhance his squad with new options in their attacking line with Solomon being one of their targets.
