Sule and Upamecano on Chelsea's transfer list
Thomas Tuchel is looking to strengthen Chelsea's defense and has two options.
Niklas Sule and Dayot Upamecano are two of Chelsea's main options to strengthen the defensive line that the Blues are planning to sign next summer.
Upamecano is
Bayern Munich's main option for the summer and reports suggest that the Reds are in a good position to sign him, so Chelsea have a tough job ahead of them. His release clause will be $ 50 million, which clubs can activate in the summer to buy him. Leipzig is also sure of his separation and therefore is thinking of strengthening its defensive line.
Manchester United will also be Chelsea's rival. The Red Devils are also thinking of strengthening their defensive line for the summer.
But Bayern's efforts to sign Upamecano have jeopardized the future of Sule and David Alaba. It looks like both defenders will leave Bayern in the summer. Alaba is close to Real Madrid and his transfer to the Spanish capital seems certain. But Sule will still be available to other teams and Chelsea will try to sign him.
