Lazio defender Denis Vavro joins Huesca on loan
Lazio announced they agreed to send center-back Denis Vavro to La Liga side Huesca on a dry loan for the remainder of the season.
The agreement between the two sides does not come with a purchase option, so Vavro will be returning to
Lazioat the end of the season.
Vavro
was close to leaving for
Genoa, but he did not undergo a medical examination there due to an injury.
The Slovakia international, who joined Lazio for a fee of €10.5m in 2019, struggled for game-time and made only 19 appearances for the club.
He will get the chance to play more at
Huesca. The Spanish side are now standing last in LaLiga standings with only 16 points out of 21 outings.
Vavro came through the youth system at Slovak side Zilina before making the move to Copenhagen in 2017.
