Abraham defends Rudiger amid rumored involvement in Lampard's sacking
The frontman rushed to his teammate’s defense after Rudiger was accused of stirring up the waters in the Premier League club.

Tammy Abraham, refused to let his teammate,
Antonio Rudiger, be accused of causing tension in the club during Frank Lampard’s reign calling the accusations a
"complete nonsense"
. Lampard, who was sacked after 18 months as the Blues manager, was replaced by former Paris Saint-Germain boss, Thomas Tuchel, following the team’s consecutive failures.
During his time as Chelsea’s coach,
Lampard
signed several great players as he limited the game time of some of the regular footballers including Rudiger, which led to accusing the Germany international of being involved in Lampard’s sacking.
Abraham, who was not pleased with the rumors, wrote on
:
"Hearing some mad stuff about Antonio Rudiger on social media today. Complete nonsense. Toni is a big bro to all of us."
