Cristiano Piccini back in Valencia after one-year loan spell in Italy

Cristiano Piccini has gotten back to Valencia after his loan spell with Serie A side Atalanta was finished right on time, according to Football Italia and announced by Valencia's Twitter account.

The right-back joined La Dea on a season-long loan on 9 September with a choice to purchase for €3m. Injuries tormented his time in Bergamo, notwithstanding, he appeared only in one game for the Italian side, playing an hour against Spezia. 

The 28-year-old flew back to Spain early in the morning and will continue preparing with Valencia. However, he had various alternatives to browse, supposed to be quick to help battling Valencia and reboot his vocation in

La Liga

. His club are at present fourteenth in the standings. 

The Italy international started his senior vocation with Fiorentina, having loan spells with Carrarerse, Spezia, Livorno, and Real Betis prior to joining Betis on a perpetual arrangement in 2015. He burned through two seasons in Seville before joining Portuguese side Sporting for a year, getting back to Spain to finish Valencia's paperwork in 2018.
