Chiesa comments on the victory against Milan

Juventus winger, Federico Chiesa is happy with team’s overall performance in the match against Milan.

Last night, in a crucial and decisive match,

Juventus

managed to win 3-1 at San Siro against

Milan

to get back on the Scudetto title race once again. The star of this match was

Federico Chiesa

, a new Juventus signing who managed to score twice against Rossoneri.

Despite his good performance, the Italian was subbed off after 63 minutes, which he claims he is OK with.

In an interview with

Sky Sport Italia

, he said:

“I’m fine, I only had a hip problem, no muscular injury, I’ll recover tomorrow.

“I didn’t run very well, I told the coach that I couldn’t sprint and he made his choice.

When Chiesa was asked about his double, he said:

“More than anything else, it’s the continuity of performance.

“Even if you don’t score, you must play well, you have to give everything.

“And the goals are the result of this. The coach asks me to throw myself into the spaces because players like Dybala and Cristiano see things that the others don’t."

Chiesa admits that playing for Juventus requires a great sense of responsibility.

“They ask for something more from you.

“The responsibilities are greater. I’m always generous on the pitch, I always try to help the team even in defense.

“I’m very happy, because in the first half, when they attacked us, the team suffered together.

“Today is a great collective result, we are really happy.”
