Neil Harris has been banned from one match

Neil Harris, Cardiff City boss, has been given a match touchline restriction and was fined for £2,000 following Wycombe’s clash when he was dismissed.

which came to a 2-1 defeat for

Cardiff City

for being accused of talking with “abusive and/or insulting language towards a match official”.

FA Spokesperson has taken the matter to Twitter, saying: “

Cardiff City FC’s Neil Harris has been suspended from the touchline for one match and fined £2,000 for a breach of FA Rule E3 that occurred during an EFL Championship match against Wycombe Wanderers FC on Tuesday 29 December 2020.

“The manager admitted that he used abusive and insulting language towards a match official during the 81st minute of the match and accepted the standard penalty.”

The Cardiff manager will have to serve his ban when his side goes against

Nottingham Forest

on Saturday for the FA Cup.
