Dejan Stojanovic joins Bundesliga 2 side St Pauli

Middlesbrough goalkeeper will play for the Kiezkicker on a short-term loan deal.

Under the management of Neil Warnock,

Dejan Stojanovic

was

Middlesbrough

’s number one but the player’s game time reduced with the arrival of Marcus Bettinelli who joined the club on a loan spell from

Fulham

. Bettinelli has played every game for Boros in their current league campaign and Stojanovic has been used as a back-up for the younger goalkeeper.

A report from Boros’ official website indicates that Stojanovic’s loan move to

St Pauli

will aid the player to get more playing time. In Middlesbrough’s latest match against Wycombe Wanderers, Sol Brynn replaced Stojanovic on Boro’s bench as they achieved a 3-1 victory. Stojanovic’s next club St Pauli are currently in the second bottom place of the

Bundesliga 2

table and are hoping to avoid relegation as they have managed to win only one of their 13 matches so far.
