Villas-Boas confirmed Marseille joined race for Milik

Milik has also attracted the attention of the French club.

Marseille

boss Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that they are looking to sign Arkadiusz Milik.

The Polish striker's contract will expire at the end of the season, and he can now negotiate freely with other clubs. However, Napoli has asked other clubs for 15 to 18 million euros to transfer him in the winter.

Juventus

, Inter, and Atletico Madrid are among the clubs looking to sign Milik, and Marseille has been added to this race. Boas confirmed that they are looking to sign the Polish striker but have a difficult task ahead of them.

“We are interested but there are no advanced discussions with the club or the player,"

the former Chelsea boss told reporters.

“We are not in advanced talks, [his signing] is not going to happen the next few days. It is an interest, which unfortunately appeared in the Italian press," he continued.

“Milik is not the only option. It's the toughest target, maybe, because he's an important player. It's not so simple to sign him.”
