Mainz transfer dissatisfied fullback Aaron to Spain on six-month loan

FSV Mainz have remarked that Aaron Martin Caricol will be sent on a loan to Celta Vigo for the rest of the season.

After the Spanish youth prospect has played in the Rheinhessen starting XI for another year before losing trust of head-coach, Acim Beierlorzer. 

By January 2020, the only spot he regularly occupied was one on the bench.

The player, who regularly goes by "

Aaron

", drew massive criticism from his then-coach for neglecting the training. Manners didn't get better after Beierlorzer's removal this fall. Interim trainer, Jan Moritz-Lichte, who also noted that the 23-year-old did not seem to be on Bundesliga level.

Playing only five matches- three of which were starts -for his German team by now this season, it was clear that he would be transferred during this transfer window. 

New Mainzer sporting director, Martin Schmidt affirmed that the club had agreed to the player's transfer request, saying that the loan back to

Aaron

's homeland completed his request to join a team where he may play more.

Based on the La Liga club's own announcement, the six-month-loan-contract includes a permanent purchase option.
