Gravina says Serie A must become more uncertain and fascinating

Italy’s FA’s president claimed that he’s in favor of playoffs and believes Serie A isn’t attractive enough.

FIGC’s President,

Gabriele Gravina

, told Il Messaggero:

"Before the outbreak of the pandemic we had started a path to relaunch Italian football which must redefine a new relationship between the Leagues,”

“We could discuss about the formats only afterwards. I will convene and extraordinary meeting to make the FIGC of the future more sustainable and representative.

“I am a great supporter of the playoffs, but we can not reduce everything to this. This year the Serie A is very exciting, and yet we have to constantly ask ourselves about how to make it increasingly uncertain and fascinating,”

he added.

Concerning the Italian Olympic Committee’s decision over

Juventus-

Napoli’s match,

Gravina

replied:

“My role requires impartiality and respect, I do not enter into the merits of the decision.

“What I can say is that the justice of FIGC is administered by jurists of great value, who exercise their task scrupulously, with passion and dedication, without conditioning.”
