Barcelona "want to sell" ex-Liverpool man player Coutinho

Barcelona are eager to sell Phillippe Coutinho in January to help their financial status.

The Brazillian experienced a wonderful four and a half years with Liverpool between 2013 and 2018. At that time he was one of the advanced players in the Premier League.

Coutinho

had just over 200 displays for Liverpool, as he contributed 54 goals and 45 assists.

This figure made him one of the most known players in Europe. In January 2018,

Coutinho

moved to

Barca

for a primary fee of £105m, which could have reached £142m with add-ons.

He has spent time in different teams in Spain. He was on loan with Bayern Munich for the entire 2019/20 campaign.

He went back to

Barcelona

before the new season.

Coutinho

has been a regular under Ronald Koeman at the start of this campaign. But he is currently suffering a hamstring injury.

Barcelona

are facing financial issues. To handle these worries, their board are considering selling one or two of their highest earners just like

Coutinho,

who earns around

£

200,000 a week for the Spanish giants.
