Callum McGregor: ‘I see enough quality in the dressing room’

The Celts’ midfielder, McGregor, is confident that his squad is qualified enough to get back in the game.

The Hoops did not get off on the right foot in either Scottish Premiership or the

Europa League

.

Celtic

hold the second title in the Europa League after gaining 30 points in 13 competitions.

Rangers

are 11 points north of Celtic’s after 15 matches, leading their Old Firm rivals.

Celtic are 4th on Europa League Group H, scoring only one point in their three matches, which puts them in a dangerous spot.

McGregor said: “

We’ve had a really successful spell with the club, the players, the management, the club as a whole – everyone who works for the club – and we’re all desperate to continue that success

.

And when I look in the dressing room, I see enough quality and enough hunger to go and have another successful season. We’ve had a little bit of a blip, but it’s now down to the players, the management, the club as a whole, everyone to rally round each other, and for the support to continu

e.”

Notwithstanding the immensely strong squad, the bhoys are not being their finest this season.

By holding the winner title for nine seasons in Scotland, Celtic’s sudden rise can be expected. They still have got some time left to beat their old rival this season.
