Real Madrid game is vital, says Handanovic

Inter is going to face Real Madrid at San Siro and their experienced goalkeeper warns his teammates.

Inter

was so closed to beat

Real Madrid

in the first leg of their Champions League matches. They came from 2 down to 2-2 but Rodrygo scored the third for Real Madrid and now Inter find themselves on the bottom of the table.

They will face each other again and Inter’s goalkeeper,

Handanovic

has spoken about it. He believes that everyone should put in extra effort if they want to win this game.

“To go through, we need seven points,” Handanovic told Sky Sport Italia. “There are three games left and everything is at stake.

“The importance of tomorrow’s match is fundamental. In these games, you need everything, that everyone raises the level.”

Samir Handanovic also spoke about the first leg against Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu.

“In the first leg we played well, but unfortunately, these situations make the difference in football, and sometimes we make our life complicated all by ourselves.

“You must be better at this. I don’t think it’s not possible, I think we must understand that when teams play against Inter, they give a little extra, and sometimes we haven’t matched the intensity of other teams.

“When you don’t, you can be put in difficulty. And at the start of this season, it has happened three or four times already."
