Luis Alberto criticizes Lazio for not paying their players

Lazio midfielder has questioned the club’s decision to buy a private plane despite their delay in paying salaries.

Lazio

has had difficulties with paying their players since the last season but a new purchase by the club officials has caused controversy. Sky Sports’ Gianluca Di Marzio has picked up an Instagram story where the team’s Spanish midfielder

Luis Alberto

has criticized the club’s decision to spend money on buying an airplane. Di Marzio’s report also indicates an outburst on Twitch where the 28-year-old said:

“I saw the plane, but we have to pay for it. They buy things, but they don’t pay us.”

Alberto refers to unpaid salaries from the past season as many Italian clubs decided to cut their players’ payments due to the COVID-19 crisis. Claudio Lotito the club’s president has been questioned once again in another Instagram story by the Spanish midfielder:

“All very nice, but when will we deal with the people who are inside? The appearance.”
